Buttery Garlic & Mushroom

Ingredients
1/2 lb American Wagyu Steak of Choice
Salt
Ground black pepper
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
Garlic Butter
1/2 tablespoon salted butter
1 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon chopped parsley
Instructions
Rinse and pat steak dry.
Season the steak with salt and ground black pepper on both sides. Set aside.
Combine 1/4 cup butter, minced garlic, sliced mushrooms and chopped onion in a bowl. Combine well.
Prepare a cast-iron skillet on high heat until smoking hot, add coconut or palm oil and then the butter mixture until browned.
Transfer seasoned steak to skillet and pan-sear one side for 2 minutes. Turn the steak over and pan-sear the other side for 2 minutes. Sear on each side for an additional 1-2 minutes depending on the thickness of the steak and how well done you like your steak.
Serve immediately.
Recommended cuts for pan-sear are ribeye, New York strip, or filet mignon.
